Cheetah WIP

Behold the Cheetah!
A few snapshots of my Cheetah Model in real-time render.

I have completed the texture enough to instantly recognize this model of a Cheetah, However if I have any extra time once its complete I may polish it a bit more (Maybe once My wrist has recovered from drawing hundreds of dots I will consider it!). Notice the mirrored UV all along the center of the head, back , and tail. Besides the blatant mirror, I think the texture is quite seamless.

Currently I have start rigging the geometry ready for animation. I plan to animate a run, walk, and Idle cycle.
The rig itself shouldn't take too long, but setting up some nice controllers may take a little while. The main purpose of this model was to show my animation ability, yet also my versatility in modeling, UVing, texturing, and rigging.

The Model is 1192 Triangles (Mid-Low poly'), Texture is 512 Diffuse only ( may reduce to 256 if I tweak the UV )

Stay tuned for the animation!

Sonic Work-In-Progress

Sonic The Hedgehog WIP

So for a while I have been wanting to create something that I'm extremely passionate about, and that just so happens to be Sonic! The whole purpose for modeling Sonic in 3D is so I can pose him and use him as a reference for 2D drawings. Either way, I really like how it is going so far.

He has no textures applied at the moment, and to be honest, I'm not certain that he ever will have textures. If any, I would texture the eyes so He doesn't look so creepy haha.

I think it still needs a bit of tweaking. I'm still considering rigging the hands, but its going to be allot more work if I do. Also, if I do decide to rig the hands, I will have to add an extra joint in the fingers.
