As you may have read from my Profile, I am currently updating my portfolio. The pieces on this site are quite old for the most part, So its time for a face-lift!
I know this Blog is quite new, but some of the artwork is not. (as you can probably tell from my latest WIP).
Over the next few months and long into the new year, I will be working on adding some newer pieces to my portfolio to bring it up to a nice shiny polish :)
It doesn't take a whole lot of time to actually create the assets for a portfolio. Most of the time comes from drawing inspiration and actually planning what to do. Once I have a few more pieces under my belt I will re-organize this Blog to better display my skills. Currently I have few categories and I'm leaving quite vague simply due to the fact that some of my work here is almost 2 years old. It's a lot harder to find the time to complete projects to a professional quality at this stage in my life, but I'm not complaining, nothing will stop me!
Anybody reading this who is viewing my portfolio as a professional please take into account that allot of the pieces on this Blog are quite old and were created while I was still in College. Stay in touch for future updates, I will be announcing my progress with milestones of completed projects.
See you soon!
Jamie.

Sonic Work-In-Progress
Sonic The Hedgehog WIP
So for a while I have been wanting to create something that I'm extremely passionate about, and that just so happens to be Sonic! The whole purpose for modeling Sonic in 3D is so I can pose him and use him as a reference for 2D drawings. Either way, I really like how it is going so far.
He has no textures applied at the moment, and to be honest, I'm not certain that he ever will have textures. If any, I would texture the eyes so He doesn't look so creepy haha.
I think it still needs a bit of tweaking. I'm still considering rigging the hands, but its going to be allot more work if I do. Also, if I do decide to rig the hands, I will have to add an extra joint in the fingers.
See below for some renders
