It's been a while since I've updated my portfolio. I have continued my journey in game development and have learned so much more over the past few years!
I have updated my portfolio to better represent my skills and experiences. Who knows, maybe I will start blogging again.
Here's to a successful 2017

Update - New project?
Hi there, long time no speak!
Believe it or not, I have actually been slightly productive since my last update :)
I have been working on a 2D RPG PC game (who hasn't) over the past little while. It's mostly been figuring out different codes and getting familiar with the code language, among concepting assets/game mechanics and everything else.
There isn't really a whole lot to show for right now, but as soon as I get enough assets completed and loaded into the game, then I will share a few screenshots!
Until then, I will be slowly creating assets, while trying to iron out some of the wrinkles that pop up as I go. I'm also refining allot of ideas as I make assets to, so who knows how long this will take :P
Either way, I'm working towards a playable Alpha version of the game. I Aim to have the main Hub + the first two levels fully functional.
The game is going to based around a unique combat system, which personally, I am very proud of. Its nothing super innovative but its very fun! I feel it is a perfect mix of real-time strategy, Classic RPG lvl-up grinding, and FREE CHOICE! All of which set in a rich, interactive environment, with highly refined NPCs, and amusing Easter eggs :P
P.S , I'm still super early in development. Don't expect any screenshots anytime soon :P I will aim to post some screenshots within 1 Month. That is my goal!!

Cheetah WIP
Behold the Cheetah!
A few snapshots of my Cheetah Model in real-time render.
I have completed the texture enough to instantly recognize this model of a Cheetah, However if I have any extra time once its complete I may polish it a bit more (Maybe once My wrist has recovered from drawing hundreds of dots I will consider it!). Notice the mirrored UV all along the center of the head, back , and tail. Besides the blatant mirror, I think the texture is quite seamless.
Currently I have start rigging the geometry ready for animation. I plan to animate a run, walk, and Idle cycle.
The rig itself shouldn't take too long, but setting up some nice controllers may take a little while. The main purpose of this model was to show my animation ability, yet also my versatility in modeling, UVing, texturing, and rigging.
The Model is 1192 Triangles (Mid-Low poly'), Texture is 512 Diffuse only ( may reduce to 256 if I tweak the UV )
Stay tuned for the animation!

Portfolio Update!
As you may have read from my Profile, I am currently updating my portfolio. The pieces on this site are quite old for the most part, So its time for a face-lift!
I know this Blog is quite new, but some of the artwork is not. (as you can probably tell from my latest WIP).
Over the next few months and long into the new year, I will be working on adding some newer pieces to my portfolio to bring it up to a nice shiny polish :)
It doesn't take a whole lot of time to actually create the assets for a portfolio. Most of the time comes from drawing inspiration and actually planning what to do. Once I have a few more pieces under my belt I will re-organize this Blog to better display my skills. Currently I have few categories and I'm leaving quite vague simply due to the fact that some of my work here is almost 2 years old. It's a lot harder to find the time to complete projects to a professional quality at this stage in my life, but I'm not complaining, nothing will stop me!
Anybody reading this who is viewing my portfolio as a professional please take into account that allot of the pieces on this Blog are quite old and were created while I was still in College. Stay in touch for future updates, I will be announcing my progress with milestones of completed projects.
See you soon!

Sonic Work-In-Progress
Sonic The Hedgehog WIP
So for a while I have been wanting to create something that I'm extremely passionate about, and that just so happens to be Sonic! The whole purpose for modeling Sonic in 3D is so I can pose him and use him as a reference for 2D drawings. Either way, I really like how it is going so far.
He has no textures applied at the moment, and to be honest, I'm not certain that he ever will have textures. If any, I would texture the eyes so He doesn't look so creepy haha.
I think it still needs a bit of tweaking. I'm still considering rigging the hands, but its going to be allot more work if I do. Also, if I do decide to rig the hands, I will have to add an extra joint in the fingers.
See below for some renders
